If you didn’t know, FMC originally stood for Food Machinery Corporation. FMC has been involved in many industries. In 1941, FMC built landing vehicles for the United States War Department. They have also built fire fighting equipment under the FMC and Bean name. This OEM has gone under several name changes and many of you know them as the John Bean Company, now a subsidiary of Snap On. If you have an FMC or John Bean tire changer, SVI carries bits, toolholders, silencer bands, centering cones, spacers and many more parts for FMC / John Bean brake lathes.
Do you have an FMC 8500 or FMC 8600 tire changer? Looking for the cylinder rebuild kit? Call SVI and put us to work finding your parts.
