Bishamon Industries of Taiwan was actually one of the companies that made early private label lifts for Benwil. Once Benwil started designing its own lifts they changed factories and this resulted in Bishamon’s independent entry into the US auto lift market. Bishamon no longer sells auto lifts in the US but remains one of the World’s largest suppliers of material handling equipment.
There still remains a fairly substantial number of Bishamon auto lifts in service in pockets throughout the United States. Of course, one company stands tall to help make sure owners of Bishamon auto lifts have a source of supply for repair parts. When an owner of a Bishamon auto lift needs help with parts they turn to SVI. If SVI does not have the part readily available it will seek the part from Taiwan or simply just make it here in America.
Many of the imported lifts in service today are repaired with American Made products by SVI. We like to say that everyday we are re-domesticating the import segment of lift industry with our non-import auto lift repair products.
