Ever since the first cassette style lifts were invented by the Europeans, moisture has been the one single biggest difficulty. This is because each time the lift is raised fresh air is drawn into the lift, replacing the void created by the rising plungers. This air condenses once inside the lift and begins to accumulate. As the water accumulates and rises various components in the lift become submerged and begin to corrode. This corrosion can cause some problems to certain important elements of the lift. In a recent survey we gathered much input from leading lift repair professionals about cassette style lifts and this phenomenon that has helped us to develop the Aqua-out system. |
 We know water in the lift is a problem. We also know that just simply telling lift owners that water is in their system doesn't really do anything about the problem. Once a user recognizes there is water in their lift, they are instructed to open the lift and remove the water with a special pump. This is a burdensome, costly activity that negatively affects shop productivity.
At SVI we don’t really care how the water gets in or about notifying the lift owner that water is present. Instead, we simply solved how to remove the water every time the lift is operated. This keeps key components out of the water and puts the productivity back where it should be; using the lift, not pumping it out or fixing it.
In just about two hours, you can put an end to water accumulation problems at any site where a cassette style lift is installed and moisture is a problem. The patent pending Aqua-out unit is designed to fit most any cassette style lift produced by Rotary Lift. SVI will also provide Aqua-out systems for Challenger cassette lifts and other competitive makes as well. The standard unit uses a 2 GPM pump, which will do the trick at most locations. However, where water really accumulates quickly from floor cleaning, etc. you may want to upgrade to the 5 GPM version.
Once installed, you can run Aqua-out continuously to get the mass quantity of water out. Once the water level is lowered, the Aqua-out system will automatically remove water as it builds up each time the lift is lowered or anytime the air valve is actuated. The Aqua-out system is shipped with everything you need and easy to follow instructions.
